Pregnancy

Pregnancy can be both a joyful and worrisome time of a woman's life. But, it can also be a little scary. In first pregnancy time every woman has questions about what to do and what not to do, to make sure she has a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Pregnancy occurs when an egg is fertilized by a sperm, grows inside a woman's uterus (womb), and develops into a baby. In a pregnancy, there may be multiple gestations as in the case of twins or triplets. Generally a pregnancy lasts for 9months or 38 weeks.

Expecting mothers generally seek pregnancy information. Those who have had babies are probably less nervous than a mother expecting her first child. Women who planned their pregnancies may have educated themselves on the pregnancy process and motherhood. On the other hand, women who did not plan a conception may be in need of pregnancy information

Some women have problem-free pregnancies, but many women encounter some discomforts along the way. Over the next nine months you will be going through many different and exciting changes, as well as some challenges. By educating yourself about pregnancy, you can learn what you need to do to keep both you and your precious baby healthy. Taking care of your health during pregnancy is not only important for you but also for your baby. Enjoy your new adventure! more
