Balanced Diet

A balanced diet refers to intake of appropriate types and adequate amounts of foods and drinks to supply nutrition and energy for the maintenance of body cells, tissues, and organs, and to support normal growth and development. A well-balanced diet acts to provide sources of energy and nutrition for optimal growth and development.

 

Balanced diet can differ from person to person because there are quite a few factors which determine the balanced diet like every individual has his/her own body structures e.g. one person can have slim body, other one can have good healthy body. Also the working habits and daily routines can be the major factor in determine the balanced diet. So it can be quite difficult to determine what integrants should be there in a diet and the amount of a particular integrant should be in the diet. Again teens required more amount of integrants as compare to an Adult.
